eBooster

The BorgWarner turbocharger leader has designed and manufactured an eBooster compressor that reacts with respect to standard turbochargers at present and independently of the engine speed.

It is designed in combination with a turbocharger to provide enough air at low engine rpm, resulting in a large increase in torque and engine power. Vehicles equipped with eBooster significantly respond to the gas response. The eBooster for the compressor drive uses a brushless DC electric motor.
